This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Measuring Points and Counters (PM-EQM-SF-MPC) component.

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to fill or change values in customer fields for measuring points (fields in include CI_IMPT) and measurement documents (fields in include CI_IMRG).

This BAdI is called when you save measuring points or measurement documents. It is called in for example IK01, IK02, IK11, IK12, as well as other functions in which you create or change measuring points or documents.

The BAdI has a similar function to customer exit IMRC0001. The customer exit should not be used any longer if the BAdI is used. The BAdI is called directly after the customer exit is executed. The field changes of the customer exits are transferred to the BAdI. The values of the customer fields will be used after the BAdI is executed.

If the BAdI should have more than one active implementation, the different implementations should not change the same fields because the order in which the different implementations are called is not defined.

In the implementation of the BAdI no dialog screen or message must be called.
