Most of the functions for Management of Internal Controls are delivered in Web applications. You need to activate these Web applications under Activate HTTP Services.

The HTTP service and the HTTPS service must be set up. You can do this in the monitor of the Internet Communication Manager (transaction SMICM). From there, choose Goto -> Services, then Goto -> Service -> Change.

Single Sign-On (SSO2) is necessary for logon and must be activated on the server side (transaction STRUST). For background information on this, see SAP Note 517860. For information on the procedure, see SAP Note 510007.

To activate the Web applications for MIC, perform the IMG activity Activate HTTP Services (transaction SICF).

Activate the following services:

  • default_host -> sap -> public -> bsp -> sap -> htmlb
  • default_host -> sap -> public -> bsp -> sap -> public
  • default_host -> sap -> bc -> bsp -> sap -> crm*
  • default_host -> sap -> bc -> bsp -> sap -> fopc_start

To enable documents to be stored in MIC and downloaded again, you also have to perform the following steps:

  1. Activate the service default_host -> sap -> bc -> contentserver.
  2. Create the external alias /default_host/sap/bc/contentserver. This alias must refer to the service of the same name. For a detailed description of the procedure, see SAP Note 685521. If necessary, also implement SAP Note 595056.
