In this IMG activity, you make preparations for a deficiency analysis.

  • The issues that you want to consider during the analysis you copy on a given key date to table FOPCDEFICANALYS. The deficiency analysis is performed based on the data copied to this table. You can copy the data more than once, since the system creates a separate analysis GUID each time the issues are copied.
  • You specify the threshold that determines the point at which the magnitude of a deficiency is considered material.
  • You specify when the task for performing the deficiency analysis is sent.
  • In the organizational hierarchy, you specified the levels on which deficiency analysis is performed. This is possible in expert mode only, in the Structure Setup: Expert Mode IMG activity.

  1. Enter a name for the deficiency analysis for which you want to copy issues.
  2. Specify the impact potential starting at which a deficiency has a magnitude that is more than inconsequential or it becomes a material weakness. To do so, enter a threshold value. For this threshold value, you also enter percentages that determine when the system sets the magnitude to More Than Inconsequential or Material.
  3. Enter the selection criteria for the data you want to copy under Issues to Be Copied.
  4. Under Schedule Job for Copying, enter the key date for which you want the issues to be copied to the table.
  5. Under Submit Task for Analysis, enter the date on which the task for performing the deficiency analysis should be sent.
The system sends the task Perform Deficiency Analysis at Org Unit Level (PERF-DFAOU). The task is sent to those persons who have authorization for the task at the lowest level you specified in the organizational hierarchy.
