In this configuration step, you can do the following for items in purchase requisitions:

• Activate Intelligent Approval Scenario: Activating the scenario will allow SAP Cloud Platformto calculate the confidence level for approving the purchasing requisition item. The calculated confidence level will be displayed to the approver in the app My Inbox. The user can use this to judge whether or not to approve the purchase requisition item.

• Configure settings related to the selected intelligent approval scenario.

You can activate and update the following scenario:

• Intelligent Approval for Purchase Requisitions

Available settings:

• Number of Attempts: Specify the maximum number of times SAP S/4HANA Cloud will try to establish connection with SAP Cloud Platform. The confidence level won’t get calculated for the purchase requisition item if the number of attempts exceeds this setting.

• Calculation Currency: Specify the currency in which the calculation for the machine learning algorithm (for net value of the purchase requisition) should take place.

Use the Activateoption to activate the selected scenario.
