MSR_EXT_RO - Specify Settings for External Repair as Follow-Up Activity

In this Customizing activity, you configure the external repair as one of the logistical follow-up activities that you can choose in the Material Inspection in Warehouse transaction in Advanced Returns Management.

In the Customizing activity Define Sales Document Types, you have created appropriate repair order types ( sales document types for external repairs).

In the standard system, repair order type RX2 has been assigned to returns order type RE2.

Assign a suitable repair order type for external repairs to the returns order types you use for Advanced Returns Processing.

Specify for the assignment whether you want the goods movement to be posted immediately from the returns stock to the repair order stock or to the subcontracting supplier's repair order stock when the logistical follow-up activity is confirmed in the material inspection.
