In this Customizing activity, you specify control parameters for Advanced Returns Management at client level.

In the Customizing activity Maintain Account Assignment Categories, you have defined account assignment categories that you want to use for the following returns purchase orders:

  • Returns purchase orders for the direct return to supplier
  • Returns purchase orders for non-valuated materials that you want to forward to the supplier

In the Customizing activity Maintain Inspection Types, you have defined the desired inspection types.

In the Customizing activity Partner Determination, you have defined the partner functions that you want to use here. Additionally, you have made the necessary entries in activities Customer Master and Sales Document Item to enable the 3rd Party partner functions.

In the Customizing activity Define Item Category Usage, you have defined an item usage that you want to use here.

In the ABAP Workbench, you have defined the database table that you want to use for additional inspection fields.

If you want to create the ORDERS IDoc for a returns purchase order with a background RFC, you have to maintain the usual settings for background RFC using transaction SBGRFCCONF. In particular, make sure that you have defined an inbound destination SIDXXX_SPM_PO in the sending system - with SIDXXX being the logical system ID of the sending system (for example Z99CLNT999) and '_SPM_PO' a mandatory suffix - for which you have specified parallel_generators for the Logon/server group parameter.
