In this Customizing activity, you assign the RFC destination for the Web Dispatcher system as the target system to your customer-specific copy of the manager self-service composite role. This assignment is required for manager self-service users to access the landing page.

Note

SAP delivers a standard manager self-service composite role. You can copy it and then change it to suit your requirements. For more information about the relevant composite role, see SAP Library for SAP ERP under SAP ERP Central Component -> Human Resources -> Shared Services-> Manager Self-Service -> Manager Self-Service (SAPUI5) -> Composite Role Manager Self-Service (SAPUI5).

  1. Go to transaction PFCG and call up your customer-specific manager self-service composite role in Editmode.
  2. In the Menu tab of the role, in the role menu structure, choose Landing Page.
  3. Choose Other Node Detailsand update the RFC destination name in the Target System field.
