This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Employee Self-Service (ESS) Web Dynpro ABAP (PA-ESS-XX-WDA) and the Manager Self-Service (MSS) Web Dynpro ABAP(CA-MSS-HCM) components to display additional information for employees in the team calendar, along with the standard leave request details.

This BAdI uses the interface method, Return Additional Data for the Team Calendar, (GET-NEW_CALENDAR_ENTRIES), which uses the following parameters:

  • IV_APPLICATION_MODE

Importing parameter to differentiate whether the team calendar runs for ESS or MSS

  • IT_PERNR_TABLE

Importing parameter for the employees' personnel numbers (PERNRs) shown in the team calendar

  • ET_TEAMCALE_LEGENDS

Changing parameter for the new legends in the team calendar

  • ET_TEAMCALE_DATA

Changing parameter for the data you want to show in the team calendar

  • IV_FROM_DATE

Importing parameter to notify the start date for selecting data

You use the Web Dynpro ABAP-based team calendar

Reads and displays employees' travel details in the team calendar
