This Business Add-In (BADI) is used in the component Manager Self-Service (WDA) (CA-MSS-HCM). You can use this BAdI to modify calendar entries like subject, title, body, location, reminder and dates in the iCAL file which are used for creating entries in the manager's calendar. This BAdI can also be used to fill the subject line and mail description in the mailto functionality for Birthdays and Anniversaries.

The BAdI uses the method EXPORT_LIST_TO_CALENDER which uses the following changing parameters:

  • IV_BEGDA
  • IV_ENDDA
  • IV_CLASS
  • IV_PRIORITY
  • IV_LOCATION
  • IV_SEQUENCE
  • IV_DESCRIPTION
  • IV_REMINDER
  • IV_REM_DESCRIPTION
  • IV_SUMMARY

The standard shipment does not include any implementation.

This BAdI is activated in the standard SAP system.

The BAdI is filter-dependent. You can create implementations with these filter values for sending mail and calendar appointment for birthdays and anniversaries.

‘BA’ - For sending calendar appointments

'BDAY' - For sending birthday mails

'ANN' - For sending anniversary mails

With this BAdI, the system implements the reminder mail parameters such as:

  • Mail subject text
  • Mail body text
  • Mail reminder time
  • Location
  • Priority
  • Reminder mail description
  • Reminder mail parameter in export to list functionality for Birthday and Anniversaries
  • Reminder of date’s component
