This Business Add-In (BADI) is used in the component Manager Self-Service (WDA)(CA-MSS-HCM) to define the color legends for statuses in the WebDynpro component HRMSS_DEADLINE_MONITOR.

The four statuses are:

  • New
  • In Process
  • Critical
  • Completed

The Deadline Monitor enables managers to view their employee’s deadlines as well as the deadlines for the processes of the managers who report directly to them.

The BAdI uses the method GET_LEGEND_ID_CODES, which uses the following parameters:

ET_LEGEND_IDS

The WebDynpro component HRMSS_DEADLINE_MONITOR must be included in a Floor Plan Manager (FPM)application. In a standard delivery, this component is included in the application HRMSS_HOMEPAGE. Theses statuses are used in the Deadline Monitor Application. Please note that it is only possible to have one active implementation of this BAdI, at any one time.

  • It is not filter dependant.
  • It is a single implementation BADI.
  • This enhancement implementation is activated in the standard SAP system.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

For information about the implementation of BAdIs in the context of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.

With this BAdI, the implementing component returns a table filled with the legend ID to be used for the four possible statuses. The status keys are 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively. The legend ID uniquely identifies separate RBG color combinations.
