M_TPMMO_CUSTSUB - Replace SAP PMMO Classes with Customer Classes

In this Customizing activity, you can replace the ABAP classes for PMMO delivered by SAP with your own customer-specific classes.

Note: Only replace those classes where you have very specific needs that deviate from the behavior of the SAP standard system.

Additionally, you can compare your customer subclasses with the standard classes delivered by SAP. You can either compare all classes listed in the table or selectively for one class and subclass combination. This subclass comparison function is implemented for support purposes when SAP does not have direct access to the customer system. It gives a first overview which classes have been replaced in the customer environment.

The customer-specific classes you specify in this Customizing activity have to inherit from the classes delivered by SAP.

Caution: The customer-specific class must have the instantiation Public set in the class attributes.

1. Determine the user ID:

• In a production system/client, leave the User ID field blank.
  This means that the subclass is active for all users.

• In a test system/client, you can replace the classes for specific users.

1. Enter the SAP class that should be overridden.
2. Enter the customer-specific class (the F4 help will show eligible subclasses).
3. Select the Activecheckbox.

In PMMO the subclass concept replaces the use of Business Add-Ins (BAdIs). Due to that the customer has more flexibility to edit the SAP delivered program flows and functions.
