N1SNPPLANDIS - Manage Standard Nursing Plans
Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component Structure General Data in Customer MasterThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this IMG activity, you can define standard nursing plans and standard nursing plan profiles for the nursing process documentation component that you can transfer into a patient’s nursing plan where they can be adapted to the individual requirements of the patient.
A standard nursing plan is a combination of basic catalog items and is based on a basic catalog set that defines the schematic structure of the standard nursing plan. Depending on which catalogs a basic catalog set contains, you can insert items of these basic catalogs into the standard nursing plan and define the sequence of the items.
A standard nursing plan always has
- a unique ID
- a name
- a reference to an institution
For a standard nursing plan, you can specify for which organizational units (OUs) this plan is to be valid. If no OUs are specified, the standard nursing plan is valid for all OUs.
Data Volume in Standard Nursing Plans
In principle, a standard nursing plan can contain any number of items. Note, however, that depending on the available hardware, performance problems can occur if a standard nursing plan contains too many items and, in particular, these are not arranged in a hierarchy. You achieve good performance and a clear overview if a standard nursing plan contains no more than 100 items. With a greater number of items, we recommend that you split the items into several standard nursing plans and combine the standard nursing plans in standard nursing plan profiles.
You can transport standard nursing plans and standard nursing plan profiles by creating corresponding transport requests directly in standard nursing plan management.
In order to be able to create links between nursing procedures and cycles correctly in the target system, the cycle definitions in the target system must have the same unique keys as in the source system.
The basic catalog set, on which the standard nursing plan is to be based, has the following structure:
- Nursing diagnoses,,,,,,Main catalog
- Causes,,,,,,Property of nursing diagnosis
- Symptoms,,,,,,Property of nursing diagnosis
- Nursing goals,,,,,,,,Main catalog
- Nursing procedures,,,,Link procedure to goal
- Nursing procedures,,,,,,Main catalog
- Localization,,,,,,Property of nursing procedure
- Material,,,,,,Property of nursing procedure
Based on this basic catalog set, you can insert nursing diagnoses, nursing goals, and nursing procedures into the standard nursing plan.
- For nursing diagnoses, you can define specific causes and symptoms as properties.
- For nursing procedures, you can define specific localizations and materials.
- In addition, you can store nursing procedures with cycles, for example, procedure "Wash Patient" with the cycle "Twice Daily".
For each of the items inserted in the standard nursing plan, you can stipulate whether they are to be automatically preselected in the input help in the nursing plan. For items of the standard nursing plan that are frequently used, you can set the Preselection indicator.
You can group several standard nursing plans together in standard nursing plan profiles. A standard nursing plan profile always has
- a unique ID
- a name
- a reference to an institution
