Use

In this and the following IMG activities, you customize sales and service orders so that the billing clerk can create notas fiscaís from them. For more information, see the SAP Library documentation listed below.

Requirements

Only carry out this IMG activity if you use Billing in SAP CRM with a mix of condition-based tax calculation and Transaction Tax Engine. Skip it if you want to use Billing in SAP R/3, or if you want to use Billing in SAP CRM using TTE only.

Before you start with this activity, you must have:

  • Downloaded the tax calculation procedure from SAP R/3
  • Created a TTE tax calculation procedure

Standard settings

Activities

In this IMG activity, you map each TTE tax type to the corresponding condition types. Then, when a sales clerk creates a service order or sales order, TTE creates TTE tax items from the taxes already determined by condition-based tax calculation.

Note that TTE does not calculate any taxes itself. Condition-based tax calculation calculates the taxes, and these values are read by TTE.

Example

In TTE, the TTE tax type ICMS is designed to calculate ICMS. It contains the following information:

  • ICMS tax rate
  • ICMS tax base
  • ICMS tax amount

In condition-based tax calculation, the ICMS tax base is stored in the condition type ICB2, and the ICMS tax rate and the ICMS tax amount are stored in the condition type ICVA. To map the TTE tax type to the condition types, you make an entry as follows:

Field Enter
TTE Tax Type ICMS
Tax Rate ICVA Tax Rate
Tax Amount ICVA Tax Amount
Tax Base ICB2 Tax Base
