NPA_NTPZ - Define Catalog Item Assignments

In this Customizing activity, you define catalog item assignments for each institution by assigning a target catalog item to a source catalog item in relation to an assignment type.

You have created the following data:

• The institution

• The catalogs and the catalog items

• The assignment types (with indicator C for conversion) you want to use in the conventions

The validity periods of the catalog item assignments must be identical to those of the catalog items used.

You have made the appropriate entries in the catalog determination table for the required combination of catalogs (source and target catalogs).

1. Check if catalog item assignments are used in your institution.
2. Your entries must contain the following specifications:

• Institution

• Identification key of the source catalog in the first Catalog field

• Source catalog item in the first Itemfield

• Assignment type

• Identification key of the target catalog in the second Catalog field

• Target catalog item in the second Item field

• Validity period in the Valid From and Valid To fields

• Quantity of the catalog item
