OALE_AENDERDEL_SE38 - Define Variants

In this step, you schedule the following program:

• RBDCPCLR, for deleting obsolete change pointers.

Create a variant for the program.

• To do this, execute the function, enter "RBDCPCLR" and choose Variants.

• Enter a name for the variant and choose Create.

• Maintain the attributes for the variant.

• Save the variant.

You can then schedule a job with this variant by choosing SAP Menu -> Tools -> ALE -> ALE Administration -> Services -> Periodic Processing -> Outbox -> Schedule Reorganization of Change Pointers - SM36).
