OALE_STATUSW - Process IDoc Status Values

Here, you can assign a process code and a status group to each IDoc status. The process code determines whether the particular status is followed by an exception handling process:

In the standard setting, the exception handling process is realized with the process code EDIR, which points to the standard task TS70008125.

As an alternative, you can use the process code EDIS with the standard task TS30000078. This process code enables a status record to be displayed, but does not enable the outbound IDoc to be dispatched again.

The assignment to a status group, in which various statuses are bundled, is of particular significance for monitoring activities.

Process code:

Select a status line and choose Edit -> Change Field Content. Select Process Code and enter a value (EDIR, EDIS).

Status group:

Select a status line and choose the detail view. Use the F4 help to choose a value for the field Qualification.

Process code:

If communication errors are registered, the exception handler is triggered. This can, for example, trigger a workflow in which various users react to the communication errors and dispatch another IDoc, if necessary. .
