OAUTH2_SFSF_REGOAUTH - Register OAuth 2.0 Client Application

In this Customizing activity, you register an OAuth 2.0 client application in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC).

• You have administrator authorization for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

• You have retrieved the certificate information from the back-end system in Customizing activity Retrieve Client Certificate.

1. In the SAP SuccessFactors EC, log on as an administrator.
2. Select Admin Center> Company Settings> Manage OAuth2 Client Applications.
   The Manage OAuth2 Client Applications screen appears.
3. Create a new OAuth 2.0 client application, using the naming convention SAP__.
4. Enter the SSF OA2CS certificate information from transaction STRUST without the first line (-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----) or last (-----END CERTIFICATE-----) line.
5. Select Save.
   The system generates an API key (GUID).
6. Copy the API key information. You will use this as the external application ID later on in this process.
