This activity affects the cross-application assignment of organizational units during the transfer of data to Financial Accounting (FI). In this activity, you assign a cost center to each of the following:

• Service organization

• Service group, and

• Service employee

This allows you to to derive a cost center rate for the standard cost estimate of service products in service order items.

You have defined a service organization, service group, and service employee in the system.

You can mask the service organization, service group, and service employee (*).

The cost center is not checked. It must, however, exist in Controlling (CO) for the standard cost estimate.
