OFI_BUSAREA_SLS - Assign Business Areas to Sales Organizational Units

In this activity you define which business areas are determined using the sales organization, distribution channel and division characteristics. This applies to CRM sales transactions in CRM Online, that are invoiced via CRM and posted as billing documents in SAP R/3 Financial Accounting (FI).
- The input help for business areas offers the business areas in the R/3 system that is assigned to the CRM system. If you have the SAP system number displayed bottom right in your SAP window you see the number of the R/3 system there when you use the possible entries help for business areas.
The sales organizations, distribution channels, and divisions are defined in CRM Online and the business areas are defined the SAP R/3 system.
In the Business Area column, enter the SAP R/3 FI business area for each of the combinations that should be found.
You can mask the Distribution Channel and Division fields from right to left with * . This acts as a wild card allowing any entry in the concerned field except if a particular entry exists elsewhere.
The following table is an example of settings using masking from the right:

With these settings the system finds the following business areas for sales organization O 50000102:
- For distribution channel 10 and division 01: Business area 1001
- For distribution channel 10 and division 02: Business area 1002
- For distribution channel 20 and division 01: Business area 1003
