With the IMG activity Set up information texts for Travel Planning dialog you have the option to show the user additional enterprise-specific information in dialog.

For this purpose certain points in Travel Planning dialog were defined to which you can link information texts.

The usage of the information texts is specified depending on the Travel Planning control variant.

It is advisable, for example, to display an info text regarding ticket issue and delivery to the traveler after a travel plan has been booked. Additional contact persons could also be indicated at this point.

Another example would be a note text concerning specific connections or special short-term offers that could be displayed to the user directly before selection of a travel service.

  • Defined texts
    You have already created relevant texts in general text (TX) format that you can now connect with these points in dialog.
    You create and edit the texts using the Document maintenance (SE61) transaction.
Note: You may have to request authorization for the Document maintenance transaction from your system administrator.
  1. In the Document maintenance transaction choose the document class General text in the lower Settings section.
  2. In the upper Documentsection, for Nameenter a technical name for the document and choose Create.
  3. Enter the relevant text and save the document as active.
  1. Call the IMG activity Set up information texts for Travel Planning dialog.
  2. Choose New entries.
  • Choose the point in dialog at which the the information popup is to appear (Dialog situation).

  • Enter the Travel Planning control variant for which the entry applies.

  • Type of information:Enter 'D' (Document).

  • Document class: Enter 'TX' (General text).

  • Text name: Enter the technical name of the document (see Prerequisites)

  • Condition: Choose how often the additional text should be shown to the user.

  1. Save your entries.

The complete functions for inserting information texts are available to you in the entry transaction Planning manager. For the Travel Planning dialog in the travel manager you can only store information texts for After booking.
