OFTP_MD_003_01_03 - Define Exceptions of Airlines for Determining Cabin Class

In this Customizing activity, you can define exceptions for the booking code to cabin class assignments for each airline.

You can restrict assignment exceptions for each airline using the following data:

• Flight type (international, national)

• Direction

• Flight number

• Departure from IATA location (airport), country, or region (for example, continent)

If you set the Exclude indicator, the selection applies for all flights whose origin is not the chosen IATA location, country, or region.

• Arrival in IATA location (airport), country, or region (for example, continent)

If you set the Exclude indicator, the selection applies for all flights whose destination is not the chosen IATA location, country, or region.

In addition, you can restrict the assignment exception to a specific category of cabin class, for example Premium Economy.

You can define various assignment exceptions for a specific booking code of an airline. In this case, you need to specify a sequence number (0, 1, 2, and so on) to distinguish each assignment.

The default setting is stored in system table TA22C (you cannot maintain this table in Customizing).
