OFTP_MD_003_02_01 - Define Hotel Chains

In this step, you define the hotel chains available in the connected reservation system. The codes correspond with the industrial standard and make up the basis for availability queries or booking of hotel services.

The hotel chains available in the reservation system are correctly maintained in Travel Planning.

You should keep the entries up to date at all times, otherwise error messages can appear during the availability query if an entry is missing. In this case, it is no longer possible to display the relevant travel services.

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Enter the industrial standard code valid for the hotel chain to be defined.
3. Enter a long text for the hotel chain to be defined.
