OFTP_MD_003_02_06 - Define Assignment of Room Classes to Room Types

In this step you assign different room types to room classes. You can assign more than one rom type to each room class. The room types indicate the furnishing of the hotel rooms.

Later you assign the room classes, depending on the duration of stay, to class rules, which in turn are grouped together with the trip rules in the employees' personal travel profiles. Thus you can control exactly which hotel rooms the employee can book after performing an availability query.

When, after an availability query, a hotel provider has been chosen, the display form of the available rooms with this provider can follow according to the defined class rules. The relevant settings are done in the section Define price and availability strategies.

You have already defined the relevant enterprise-specific room classes.

In the standard system, all room types defined in connectable reservation systems are supplied. These room types are based on the usual industrial standards.

Several commonly used assignments of room types to room classes have been preset.

1. Choose New entries.
2. Choose one of the defined room classes.
3. Assign a room type.
