SAP E-Book

In this activity, you set the constant values for wage types. It is sometimes also necessary to valuate certain wage types according to different criteria, such as location or employee subgroup, for example. If this is the case, you must then assign various specifications in modifier MODIF to them, and modify the relevant personnel calculation rule accordingly.

The standard SAP System provides model entries with the modifier value 01 which you can use as a template for your own wage types.

  1. Copy SAP personnel calculation rule AMOD and rename it ZMOD.
  2. If necessary, change modifier 2 (MODIF 2) in the decision tree for personnel calculation rule ZMOD to suit your requirements.
  3. Change the name of personnel calculation rule AMOD to ZMOD in AT00
  4. Maintain the hourly rates or amounts in the "Constant Valuations" table.

Modifier 2 is generally set to the value 01 in the standard SAP system.
