In this activity, you define the control for social insurance for the public sector in your payroll.

In the standard system for social insurance for the public sector Austria, enhanced social insurance is defined. From January 1, 2003, the enhanced social insurance is actively delivered in your payroll.

Note that, as of January 1, 2004, enhanced social insurance for the public sector Austria can no longer be called via table T596F.

Execute the work step belonging to this IMG activity and check the validity of the enhanced social insurance. Adjust the validity period to your requirements if necessary.

Social insurance for the public sector Austria (without enhancement) is controlled with entries in table T596F.
From January 1, 2004, enhanced social insurance for the public sector can only be accessed via subapplication SVON. The alternative activation of enhanced social insurance for the public sector via able T596F, valid to December 12, 2003, is obsolete.

If subapplication SVON (Enhanced SI Calculation (Public Sector)) is inactive, control of social insurance continues to be determined by the following entry in table T596F:

The table entry needed to activate the standard calculation of social insurance for the public sector is part of the SAP standard system.

Note that the following call of enhanced social insurance is no longer valid as of January 1, 2004:

Activate subapplication SVON and set the entry of table T596F for the symbolic name ASVBVA back to the values of the standard system.
