In the event of an absence it may be necessary for one or more contributions that were assigned to the employer or employee when assessing the contributions to be taken over by the employee or employer, either in full or in part.

A contribution type group can be defined for every public sector absence. The contribution type group defined in such a way can be assigned all contribution types that are to be processed identically ("taken over") when the absence is processed.

In this step, you are able to define the assignment of absence types and contribution type groups on the one hand, and the grouping of contribution types as a contribution type group on the other hand.

You are using the calculation of social insurance for Public Sector Austria and the subapplication SVON is activated.

In the standard delivery for Public Sector Austria, table T5APBS12_NTS is filled in such a way that four absences of the sample delivery are each assigned to a contribution type group. In the standard delivery, feature AVVEN assigns each of the four contribution type groups the contribution types that need to be taken over by the employer or employee in the event of the relevant absences.

If you want to change or enhance the contribution type grouping defined in table T5APBS12, you can do so in the first activity in this section. If you want to change or enhance the assignment of the contribution types to the contribution type groups, modify feature AVVER by performing the second activity in this section.

  1. Perform the activity Assign: Absence - Contribution Type Group.
The system displays the view SI Public Sector: Absence - Assign Contribution Type Group. Make the desired changes to the table entries.
  1. Save your entries.
  2. Perform the activity Assign: Contribution Type Group - Contribution Type.
The system takes you to the feature maintenance Edit Feature AVVEN: Decision Tree. Make the adjustments required for your system configuration.
  1. Save and activate your entries.
