OHAAOEZL019 - Define Date Type for Service Regulations Key Date

In this activity, you define a date type for the service regulations key date and assign date indicator 04 to this date type. The defined date type can be specified in infotype Date Specifications (0041) as the service regulations key date.
If there is no service regulations key date in infotype Calculation of Service (0553), the system uses this date type in the indirect valuation of the bonus in accordance with the contractual civil servant service regulations to determine the service regulations key date.
If you want to use date type 04 in the Date Specifications infotype as the service regulations key date, the following entry must exist:

- If required, create a new date type for the service regulations key date.
- Assign date indicator 04 to this date type.
- Date indicator 04 can only be assigned to one date type.
- Save your changes.
Note that the service regulations key date in infotype Calculation of Service has priority over a service regulations key date in infotype Date Specifications. For more information, see Service Regulations Key Date According to Civil Servant Service Regulations.
