OHAB40053 - Maribel Reduction

The step contains the reduction on the employer's SI contribution for workers in small concerns that contribute to the Factory Shutdown Fund.

This reduction is known as the Maribel-operation. The initial reduction of 6.17% has been replaced by, Order of the Crown 157 of 30.12.1982, by a fixed quarterly reduction per employed worker.

The reduction for a company having less than 20 employees in an industrial sector exposed to international competition is

• 9.300 BEF for the first 5 employees,

• 8.437 BEF for all other employees.

The standard SAP R/3 System contains all legal reductions.

Do not alter the standard SAP settings, unless the legal regulations were changed.

Change the table if legal regulations are changed.
