OHAB40056 - Reductions for Low Wages

To reduce labour costs the Order of the Crown of 24.12.1993 introduced a system of reductions on the Employer's social insurance contribution. It concerns reductions on low wages.

The reduction is calculated on the employer's base contributions for all employees who earn less than a specified mean income per day. There are several levels of reduction, depending on a specified income range.

The reduction is also applicable to part-time workers whose full-time wage doesn't exceed the specified limits.

From 01.04.1996, a reduction of 35% is granted on all employer's base SI contrubutions for all employees earning between 1978 and 2133 BEF per day.

The standard SAP R/3 System contains all legal regulations.

Do not alter the standard settings, unless the legal regulations are changed.

If necessary, change the settings according to the legal regulations.
