SAP E-Book

In this step you set the values for constant valuations which are wage type-dependent.

The standard SAP system contains entries with modifier value 01 for use as a model when creating your own wage types.

  1. Find out if your company has wage types which are valuated as constants.
  2. Check whether wage types are valuated differently according to certain criteria.
These criteria might include locations or employee subgroups.
  1. Copy standard calculation rule BMOD to rule ZMOD.
  2. Set up this decision tree in calculation rule ZMOD and set different values for modifier 2 (MODIF 2).
  3. Change the access code for the calculation rule in schema BT00 from BMOD to ZMOD.
  4. Enter the values for each wage type and modifier.

In the standard SAP system, modifier 2 is usually set to 01. If you do not need different values for the same wage type, you can skip points three to five and enter all wage types under the modifier value 01.
