OHABSI08 - Set Up Dismissal Allowance

In this Customizing activity, you define the settings for dismissal allowances.

The calculation of dismissal allowances is triggered by the Split Dismissal Allowance Payroll Belgium (BFIRE) function in the Monthly factoring and storage (BAL0) schema. The calculation depends on various settings, such as seniority, contract type (fixed-term or temporary), employee category, and contract period (probation or not).

In the system, the dismissal allowance an employee is entitled to is split on the basis of the quarters the allowance is spread over. This has to do with the calculation of the special SI contribution and the SI declaration. As far as the SI declaration is concerned, the dismissal allowance has to be reported in the quarter the employee receives the dismissal allowance.
