SAP E-Book

In this Customizing activity, you maintain codes for inherently dangerous activities. These codes uniquely identify risks inherent to a worker's activity, and are described in risk tables used by insurance companies to determine the insurance premiums for accidents at work.

These codes are used in the Social Insurance Belgium (0100) infotype. The field values are retrieved by the DmfA (RPCDMFB0) report for further processing and are eventually stored in the electronic DmfA file.

No preliminary steps required.

The SAP system is shipped with the official codes.

To maintain codes, complete the following steps:

  • Check the employment status in the relevant field of the Define activities with risks (T5BD5) table
  • Define groups for premium rates according to employee groupings in the Groupings of premium rates for risk activities(T5BD7)table
  • Set the default group for your personnel area by means of the Definition of grouping to assign percentage premium rate(BMORA)feature
  • Assign a premium rate to an activity in the Assignment of premium rates to risk activities (T5BD6)table

To check the employment status assigned to a risk:

  1. Choose the activity Define activities with risks.
  2. Check the value in the relevant field and change it only if necessary. Note that a blank value means that the risk applies to both wage and salary-based workers

To define groups for premium rates:

  1. Choose the activity Group premium rates.
  2. Click New entries.
  3. Enter a 4-character code and a description for the group.
  4. Save your entries.

To set the default group used in the next step for a specific personnel area:

  1. Choose the activity Set default groups for personnel area and make the necessary changes.

To assign a premium rate to an activity:

  1. Choose the activity Assign premium rates to activities with risk.
  2. Select the group you have created in the previously mentioned step.
  3. Select a risk code.
  4. Delimit the record. We suggest you use 01.01.1900 as a start date to include all your workers.
  5. Enter the applicable percentage in the relevant field.
  6. Set the default risk activity in the Social Insurance Belgium (0100) infotype.
  7. Save your entries.
