In this activity, you assign the different attendance/absences of the SAP system to an absence type in accordance with the collective absences codes.

You can store several attendance/absence types for each category. If there are several entries for the same day, the abbreviations of the absence categories are displayed in concatenated form.

For attendances, the category code is not output on the respective day but the hours attended. There can also be several attendance types or entries per day in the Attendances infotype (IT2002). The individual numbers of hours are added up.

The standard system includes the following collective attendance/absence types:

  • Sickness (A)
  • Military service (B)
  • Other paid absences (C)
  • Unpaid absences (D)
  • Holidays (E)
  • Attendances (X)

  1. Access the activity.
  • Assign the absence types to the desired code.

  • To each category, assign the attendance/absence types that use use in the infotypes Absences(IT2001) and Attendances(IT2002) and that are relevant for inclusion in the form statement of earnings for temporary employment.
