You maintain the holiday bonus on the hourly rate of the cost-of-living allowance in this step.

Instead of paid vacation, hourly wage earners receive a corresponding allowance on top of the cost-of-living allowance.

The holiday bonus is defined as a percentage of the hourly rate of the cost-of-living allowance, in which the percentage rate can also be dependent on the annual leave entitlement of the employee. The leave entitlement is determined according to the LVTYP and LVNUM characteristics.

In general, the vacation days in the Leave entitlement field are consided to be the upper limit, that is a percentage rate is valid for an employee if his leave entitlement is less or equal to the upper limit defined. If several entries exist, the R/3 system used the one that has the smallest leave entitlement value.

  • An employee has a leave entitlement of 20 days. Two percentage rates are defined, one of 5% for a leave entitlement less or equal to 20 days and one of 10% for a leave entitlement less or equal to 23 days. The 5% holiday bonus is then valid for this employee.
  • If a percentage rate is to be independent of the leave entitlement, enter the value 999.99 (maximum upper limit).

There are no entries in the standard delivered.
