In this Customizing activity, you define the contract types, which are used in the Contract Elements infotype (0016).

For more information on how to make settings, see Define Contract Types.

If you define a contract type as fixed-term contract, to use the system automatic notification before the expiration of the contract type, you must define a system task for the expiration of labor contract in Define System Notification for Expiration Dates.
