OHACN_SI002 - Define Contribution Area

In this step, you create the contribution area for which different contribution rules to social insurance are valid. These will form the subtypes of the Social Insurance (CN) infotype (0532).

Note

Alternatively, you can make these settings in the VC_7CN20_SI view cluster. To access the view cluster, call the sm34 transaction.

1. For each contribution area, enter an insurance type.
2. Enter an ID and a description for the contribution area.
3. Make the appropriate entry in the Pr./pst. tax field as follows:

• If you choose Indicator A for Post Tax, the employee's contribution is taxed.

• If you choose indicator B for Pre Tax, the employee's contribution is free of tax.
