OHACSV913 - Wage Type Coding

Due to the new SI calculation, the coding in table T512W for several wage types has changed.

In the SAP standard system, the wage types in this table are delimited to 12/31/1997.

If you have already started an productive run of report RPU40AC0 in the IMG step Automatic Maintenance of Wage Types no adjustments are required in this IMG step.

If you want to adjust the Customizing manually, proceed as follows:

1. Change the end date of all technical wage types that are delimited to 12/31/1997 to match your customer's end date for the old SI calculation.

To modify the end date of a technical wage type, mark these in view V_512W_D, choose the Expand/Collapse button and copy the previous entry specifying your customer end date as the new end date for the old SI calculation.

1. Technical wage types, which are delimited to 12/31/1998 in the SAP standard system and which do not contain the start date entry 01/01/1999 are obsolete with the new SI calculation. To guarantee the future import of old payroll results for employees who left when the old SI calculation was still valid, change the end date to 12/31/9999.
