As an alternative to the existing interest accumulation method, you want to perform a compound interest calculation. Create a function module and declare it in this view.
You want to use the functions for the reimbursement of contributions. Interest should be calculated for the contributions up to the reimbursement date.
Declare your own function module to be used in the contribution reimbursement for the calculation of interest.
