OHADDUA03 - Maintain Assignment of Nationality to Country/Region

An employee's nationality is in the Personal Data infotype. However, a nationality key is reported in the DEUEV. In this step, you determine the assignment of the nationality key to the nationality (country/region).

The employee is a Swiss citizen. In the infotype Personal data, 'CH = Switzerland' is entered in the Nationality field. In the DUEVO, the nationality key '158 = Swiss' is to be reported. Enter 158 in the field Nationality.

A number of countries/regions are available in the standard SAP system. The nationality key is already maintained for these countries.

Check the assignment of country/region to nationality.

If you have created new countries/regions, you must assign them to a nationality.

You can only enter permitted nationality keys. If the nationality keys change or new ones are added, these are generally delivered by SAP. However, you can maintain them yourself in the steps 'Recurring modifications' and 'Modifications due to legal changes' under Maintain nationality key. You can find the permitted nationality keys in the latest publications of the leading associations.
