OHADDUA08 - Maintain Default Values for Person Group Key

In this step, you maintain the feature DDU03, which determines the default values for the DEUEV person group key.
The default value for the person group key is automatically entered in the DEUEV (0020) infotype in the empty field 'person group key' as soon as the 'activity', 'occupational status' and 'education and training' fields are filled out and as soon as you press enter. It is not possible to determine the default value earlier because the other DEUEV keys used to determine the value are required.
Feature DDU03 enables you to change the preset values determined by the system and, if necessary, enhance them with your own decision-making criteria. The documentation on this feature provides information on the existing decision-making criteria used to determine the person group key.
Example
You have grouped all working students in your company under the employee group 'W'. When creating infotype 0020, the default value '106' (working students) should be entered for the employee group 'W'. To do this, you must supplement the feature.
Standard settings
The feature is supplied from SAP in such a way that the default values determined by the system are
copied over unchanged. At the time of this document's creation the following person groups could not be determined automatically:
- 104 Home worker
- 105 Placement students
- 106 Working students
- 112 Relatives working in agriculture (non season-dependent)
- 113 Side-line farmer
Recommendation
Check first of all to see whether there are employees working in your company, whose person group key can not be determined using feature DDU03. Supplement the feature if you can identify these employees by means of one of the available selection criteria (see 'Structure' in the Feature editor).
Further notes
The feature, maintained here is also used in auxiliary report RPUD3BD0 to determine the person group key. This report delimits the infotype 0020 (DEUEV) to 01.01.1999. If you maintain the feature before you start the report, then you will probably reduce the number of employees whose person group key you must maintain manually.
