OHADOEBR01 - Changes to the Salary Table
Fill RESBD Structure from EBP Component Structure BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
The reform law basically pursues two aims:
- Restructuring in favour of the lower salary class
- Simplified determination of pay
The first aim is achieved by increasing basic pay in the lower salary class and a having a longer retention period in the higher class. At the start, the retention period is 2 years, and is increased between the 5th and 8th levels to 3 years, and from the 9th level, to 4 years.
For the simplified determination of the pay, the single person's share of the cost-of-living allowance and the (minumum) general job bonuses of the junior civil service are now in the basic pay. The remaining spouse's share, and child related pay form level 1 (next page) of the new family bonus. A new law regarding single junior civil servants with no children means that instead of three included values, there is a single table value.
In the system, the Family bonus (O017) has been included as a new wage type. It is based on the Spouse's share (O018) and the Child related pay (O019). The amount of child related pay still depends on the number of children.
In the R/3 payroll system, the cost-of-living allowance was determined until 30th June 1997. As of 1st July 1997, with the changed salary structure, the family bonus is used in place of the cost-of-living allowance.
