In this step, you maintain the remaining notification data in the SPF table. This data can be split into four groups:

  1. In the group Create notifications, you can specify which notifications should be created by the program. Normally, all fields should be flagged.
  2. In the group Notification program control, you can specify whether the notification program should consider absences for exact days (in other words, unpaid absences that last less than a complete calendar month are not suppressed) and whether Registration amendments can be grouped. This means that several amendments that refer to one registration can be grouped together in one amendment.
  3. The group Preliminary record contains data that is required for the structure of the preliminary record for the data medium. The File set name and the Registration number are SPF-specific. The Sequential file number is increased by one each time the data medium exchange program runs. When the program is started live for the first time, this number should be zero. The Sender address and Sender spc. (notice) refer to the address table T536A that stores the address data. This table is accessed from the SPF table.
  4. The group Other data contains the processed Check digit procedure and also the Grouping for SP fund field. In this field, enter 01 for the VBL (otherwise, please leave it blank). This group also contains the Key date for differences. This field determines the date in the current year as of which notifications for previous years must be supplemented by a difference notification (November 30 for the VBL). The Format amounts fields define how the amounts are formatted for the data medium (you can enter different formats for positive and negative amounts, for more information see the F1 Help for these fields).

The model entries with the keys 01 and 02 are maintained in accordance with the requirements of the VBL. All fields for the model entry with the key 03 are left blank provided this does not impair the functions in the program.

  1. Select an entry from the overview screen of the SPF table.
  2. Choose Details. You access the details screen for the SPF table.
  3. Change the content of one of the above-mentioned fields to suit your requirements.
  4. Choose Save.
