When you calculate the leave and sick pay premium, you must use different wage types to run the appropriate calculations and cumulations.

The system uses the following wage types for the pay scale definition AVR Caritas.

  • Monthly time bonuses
  • Weekly time bonuses
  • Supplement percentage rate from previous period
  • Manual definition of premium percentage rate

This step gives you an overview of all wage types used in the calculation of the leave and sick pay premium for the corresponding pay scale definition.

The wage types to be used in the calculation of the leave and sick pay premium are defined in the step Define Wage Types to Be Used by creating a wage type model.

We recommend that you copy the wage type used in the standard system.

To calculate a second premium rate, all wage types used in the wage type model must be copied for the corresponding pay scale definition. This enables you to run the different calculations and cumulations in separate wage types. For example, for the collective agreement BMT-G it is necessary to form different premium rates if the foreman activities change.

However, you cannot copy the wage types in this section.

If you want to copy wage types to calculate a second premium rate for the AVR Caritas pay scale definition, proceed as follows:

  1. Start transaction PU30 to copy wage types.
  2. Choose maintenance action Copy.
  3. Enter Germany.
You access the maintenance screen for the wage type copier.
  1. Choose Change wage type group.
  2. Enter wage type group 5TU6 for the pay scale definition AVR Caritas.
  3. In the field CWType, enter the key for your customer wage types and in the Wage type long text and Short text fields, enter the required name.
  4. Choose Copy.
