In this section, you make the required settings for the generation of wage types for the leave and sick pay premium from the Leave and Sickness absences.

This step is normally executed in the Absence Valuation section.

In the payroll schema D100 (or D1KA) for the Public Sector Germany, the employee groupings 21 (salaried employees), 31 (hourly-paid employees), and 28 (collective agreement for the public sector) are used for the valuation of absences.

With these groupings, the wage types for the Leave and sick pay supplement are generated with the absence days (salaried employees) and the absence hours (hourly-paid employees) for the Leave and Sick pay valuation rules.

  1. Enter Germany.
You access the selection screen Absence Valuation: Absences/Constants (Regular).
  1. Select the entries that have 21 (for salaried employees), 31 (for hourly-paid employees), or 28 (collective agreement for the public sector) in the Abs.Val.Grp column.
  2. Flag the required entry and choose Detail. Check the valuation rules for your customer wage type.
  3. Check the valuation rules for your customer wage type.
