In this Customizing activity, you can use Business Add-In (BAdI) HRPAY00_B_APPL_VALIDITY (Validity Interval Subapplication Taking Organizational Assignment into Consideration) to activate BAdI implementation HRPAYDE_APPL_PFBZ. Subapplication PFBZ (Garnishment: Interest Calculation in the case of Advance Payment) is set to active as of January, 1 2019, and in the case of an advance payment, interest is calculated for all employees using calculation type 4 (public sector employee) from table Employee Group/Subgroup (T503) as of January 1, 2019.

If you require an implementation with different specifications (for example, an employee with a different calculation type or a different activation date), you can also create a new customer-specific BAdI implementation with this Customizing activity.

In the standard SAP system, BAdI implementation HRPAYDE_APPL_PFBZ is not active.

Activation of BAdI Implementation HRPAYDE_APPL_PFBZ:

  1. Start the activity and select BAdI implementation HRPAYDE_APPL_PFBZ.
  2. Select checkbox Active (IMG) to activate the implementation and confirm your entries.

Create Customer-Specific BAdI Implementation:

  1. Choose Create Implementation and confirm the information window ("BAdI implementation for BAdI HRPAY00_B_APPL_VALIDITY created from enhancement spot HRPAY00_APPL.").
  2. Enter the data relating to your enhancement implementation in the dialog box and confirm your entries.
  3. Make the following entries in the next dialog box:
  4. BAdI Implementation: <Own Name>
    Same as standard implementation HRPAYDE_APPL_PFBZ
  5. Implementing class: <Own Class>
Class CL_HRPAYDE_IM_APPL_PFBZ can be copied or used as a template. If necessary, change the ev_begda_validity date of your class to a date of your choice.
  6. Save your entries.
