OHADSVB26 - Set Up Contribution to Insolvency Fund

Article 3 of the German Statutory Health Insurance Modernization Act has transferred the collection of the contribution amount for insolvency benefit from the accident insurance institutes to the collecting agencies of the health insurance funds. The umbrella associations issued a circular with the title 'Gesetz zur Modernisierung der gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung; hier: Umlage für das Insolvenzgeld' (German Statutory Health Insurance Modernization Act; Here: Contribution Amount for Insolvency Benefit).
In Customizing, make the following settings for insolvency benefit contributions:
Personnel area reporting
For the following settings, use subapplication SVIU (Insolvency Contribution).
- In Customizing, under Payroll: Germany -> Personnel Area Reporting, use the Customizing activities Define Reporting Personnel Area and Assign Reporting Personnel Area Directly to define the employer and specify whether the employer has an obligation to pay contributions.>
- As of 2009, there must be an entry for each employer in the Data from Personnel Area Reporting view (V_T596M), whether or not the employer is has an obligation to pay contributions.
- In Customizing, under Payroll: Germany -> Personnel Area Reporting, start Customizing activity Enter Data on Reporting Personnel Area.
- Choose New Entries and enter the personnel area reporting.
- For employers with an obligation to pay contributions, select the Company
Liable for Insolvency Contributions checkbox in the Attributes for Contribution Amount Obligation for Insolvency Money group box.
Note:
In the group boxes Address of Recipient and Determination of Administrator, you need not make any entries.
- Choose Save.
