The number of hours worked that are notified in the DEÜV (German Data Entry Regulation), are in Wage Type /6U3 (working hours for workers' compensation association).

This wage type is composed of the planned hours according to payroll table WPBP (field WPBP-SSOLL) minus the hours from paid and unpaid absences and public holidays (field ABC-S of payroll table ABC with ABC-ATYPE = U, P, or X).

For contribution scale 2 (based on working hours) in the AI notification procedure, the planned working hours are stored in wage type /6U3 without deduction of paid absences if subapplication UVBM (determine AI working hours for contribution scale 2) has been activated. Subapplication UVBM is active in the standard system as of Januray 1, 2018. The contribution scale is stored in wage type /6UP.

In this section, you can influence the working hours determined in payroll by adding customer-specific wage types or by overwriting. To do this, enter your wage types in one of the following cumulation wage types:

  • Cumulation wage type BST3 (conditional overriding of working hours as of 2009)
If wage types are entered under this cumulation wage type, they replace the working hours determined by the standard system, if at least one of the wage types is actually in the payroll result. Otherwise, the working hours determined by the standard system remain unchanged.
  • Cumulation wage type BST2 (paid working hours as of 2009)
If wage types are entered under this cumulation wage type, they replace the working hours determined by the standard system.
This even applies if the entered wage types are not in the payroll. In this case, the working hours are overwritten with 0.
  • Cumulation wage type MSTD (modifiers for working hours)
Wage types that are entered under this cumulation wage type are added to or subtracted from the working hours determined by the standard system, depending on the arithmetic operator.

Only wage types with a work center assignment (WPBP split) can be included.

The cumulation wage types are evaluated in the sequence BST3, BST2, MSTD.
If wage type /6U3 is overridden by BST3, cumulation wage types BST2 and MSTD are not evaluated.
If wage type /6U3 is overridden by BST2, cumulation wage type MSTD is not evaluated.
