When the BVV supplementary pension contribution is calculated for a new employee, a share of special payment must be estimated. This share of special payment must include all those special payments that another comparable employee received for the previous year. The formula applied to estimate this is:
Share of special payment
= current total gross amount * special payment percentage / 100
If a full monthly salary is paid as holiday bonus, and 33% of a monthly salary is paid as vacation bonus, a special payment percentage of 133.00 is to be entered.
