Activities

In this step you can maintain the pay seniority (PS) and cost-of-living allowance models for your pay scale types.

Further notes

You must maintain the Models for determining the cost-of-living allowance and pay seniority so that the system can automatically determine the pay seniority and the relevance and type of cost-of-living allowance.

Maintain the following values:

Parameters for determining the pay seniority

Parameters for moving employees into higher or lower groups

Defining age groups for pay seniority

Defining classifications for payment groups

Models must be maintained for each pay scale area, employee subgroup grouping for collective agreement provisions and personnel action.

Example

When you change the pay scale group using the 'Change in pay' action, the PS is adjusted by moving the employee into a higher/lower group. For example, this applies to PS model 51.
If you had used model 08 for the above action, the system would propose new default values for pay seniority.

You must maintain the 'payment group classification', the 'parameter for determining the PS' and the 'parameter for moving employees into a higher/lower group' in order to be able to use the models for regrouping.
