SAP E-Book

Companies have the option to make social insurance contributions on a voluntary basis in relation to industrial accidents and industrial disease as well as non-industrial risks.

In both cases, the contributing company (self-insurer) is bound to continue paying temporary incapacity benefits to an employee, even if he or she leaves the company, for the duration of the incapacity.

In this IMG activity you can define whether or not your company will contribute to social insurance, and if so, for which kinds of risks.

You can also define the personnel leave actions for which welfare benefits will continue to be paid beyond the time that an employee leaves the company.

You must previously have defined your company's contribution account code and the personnel leave actions that will be used by your company.

SAP contains model entries.

The 10 personnel leaving action is configured to allow benefits to continue being paid after leave period (entries 'P' and 'F' in the their corresponding lines).

Adjust the existing SAP model entries according to your requirements.

Create new entries according to your own needs.

  1. Enter the following for your contribution account code:
    1. the contributing company registration number assigned to your company by Social Insurance, with the corresponding authorisation
    2. whether your company contributes for non-insustrial risks
    3. whether your company contributes for industrial accidents and industrial disease.
  2. Define your own personnel leave actions according to the requirements mentioned above, by copying lines 3 and 4 of the relevant block for each of your own actions (numbered sequentially).
Example:
0000 MASSN 06 3 |P|T001P-MASSN='10'
0000 MASSN 06 4 |F|CHECK_AUTOINSURED_COMPANY(RPUAUTE0)

0000 MASSN 06 5 |P|T001P-MASSN='Z1'
0000 MASSN 06 6 |F|CHECK_AUTOINSURED_COMPANY(RPUAUTE0)

0000 MASSN 06 7 |P|T001P-MASSN='Z2'
0000 MASSN 06 8 |F|CHECK_AUTOINSURED_COMPANY(RPUAUTE0)
Note:
You should remember the indicators 'P' and 'F', which activate the function.
